Paediatrics, developmental neurology or paediatric neurology, physical therapy and rehabilitation and in some cases ophthalmology, otorhinolaryngology, brain and nerve surgery specialists are also among the branches that may be related to different extents in monitoring and treatment of children with cerebral palsy. The whole related team shall monitor all development stages of the child and family shall cooperate in all issues.

The main goal in treatment of cerebral palsy is to integrate the child to the society and to sustain her life without assistance from others. It is aimed to enable spending time with peers in preschool and to follow courses during school age to enable being a functioning part of the society in the future.

The most related treatments children with cerebral palsy have during their whole life are physical therapy and rehabilitation. When physical therapy and rehabilitation specialists observe that progress has stopped or hindered in some aspects, patients are directed to us for surgical treatment. After the surgical treatment, physiotherapy will resume. For continued benefit from surgery a dense physiotherapy period including the use of some devices will begin.
